If you’ve received confirmation that your child’s application for the Georgia Promise Scholarship Program has been approved, we’re excited to share that your funds will be available soon.
The full scholarship amount for the 2026–2027 academic year is $6,500, and your first quarterly disbursement of $1,625 will be released on or after July 1, 2026.
At that time, you’ll also receive an email from Odyssey with instructions on how to access and use your funds.

What You Can Do Once Funded
Once your scholarship funds are released, you’ll be able to:
- Send tuition payments to approved schools
- Shop for eligible education expenses in the Odyssey Marketplace
Both options will be available within your Odyssey portal.
To receive funding, you must complete your opt-in in the Odyssey portal.
If you’ve already selected a school and confirmed tuition, no additional action is needed at this time. If you decide to change your school later, your new school will need to confirm your student’s enrollment and tuition or fees before payments can be processed.

All scholarship recipients are required to follow:
- The Georgia Promise Scholarship Program Regulations
- Applicable Georgia laws
Failure to comply may result in:
- Account forfeiture
- Collection of any fraudulently obtained funds
- Referral to the Georgia Attorney General’s Office for criminal investigation
The Georgia Education Savings Authority reserves the right to charge fees related to recovering any misused or fraudulently accessed funds.
