The following article is for Georgia Promise Scholarship participants selecting an educational method
What are the different types of educational methods to choose from?
Once a student's application has been completed, parents can select from the following three educational method choices:
- Private School
- All GESA approved private schools fall under this category. If your student is attending one of these approved private schools, please select this category.
- Home-study
- This category is for students participating in homeschool education.
- Other Educational Support
- Parents can select this method if their student is attending a non-approved private school and is enrolled in another private educational organization or school. Please note, public school does not fall under this category as students cannot be attending public school while using this scholarship.
In order to use Georgia Promise Scholarship funding to cover tuition, students must be enrolled in an approved private school. Please refer to the following article for more information: How to Use My Funds to Pay For Tuition
